About the Role

The Senior Professional Services Manager will be a strategic enterprise transformation advisor playing a critical role in helping our enterprise customers achieve maximum value from their Mixpanel investment. This role is focused on positioning Mixpanel as a key partner for a customers overall business performance and metrics strategy

The successful candidate will seek out ambiguous and consistently changing technical challenges and organize them into repeatable frameworks and deliverables that drive value for our customers. This role is an initial Individual Contributor role with a clear opportunity to build and lead a team over time.

Key partnerships will include working closely with customer senior leadership to guide business outcomes and drive real revenue impact. Internally this individual will partner directly with the Go-to-Market team (Sales Solution Engineering and Customer Success) to identify and deliver services to our largest customers.

Responsibilities

Your primary objectives will be to act as a trusted advisor to customers and help them achieve their business outcomes while ensuring the success of Mixpanel as measured by your impact to ARR and Services Revenue.

  1. Act as an Executive Advisor for key technical leaders within our customer base and build/maintain strong relationships with senior leadership level personas in enterprise accounts.
  2. Work closely with Sales to structure new business opportunities and develop comprehensive proposals and presentations for customers.
  3. Develop tooling methodologies and collateral to communicate the value of Mixpanel
  4. Build repeatable frameworks and industry playbooks to be utilized by Customer Success and partners to sell and deliver solutions beyond initial onboarding.
  5. Act as the strategic point of contact for a small portfolio of Enterprise customers owning the strategy and execution plan for key milestones like proof-of-value time-to-value and long-term retention/growth.
  6. Conduct customer market and industry research to continuously develop and refine Mixpanels service capabilities and organized offerings.
  7. Present at industry events and represent Mixpanel as a thought leader at executive meetings.
  8. Author and deliver thought leadership content (e.g. blog posts white papers) with an opinionated point-of-view on industry trends (e.g. data architecture best practices analytics/metrics strategy) and highlight the impact of successful services engagements.

Were Looking For Someone Who Has

  • 7 years of experience in Management Consulting or Professional Services roles at B2B SaaS companies with a track record of successful business development and delivery.
  • Proven ability to partner with Sales on large enterprise deals acting as a technical and strategic advisor to define complex people process and technology requirements that extend beyond standard happy path onboarding.
  • Technical expertise in data and analytics including hands-on experience with Digital Analytics and Product Analytics. Deep knowledge of customer data platforms and their specific place within a companys overall data architecture.
  • Strong executive presence and experience running workshops with customer executives (onsite and virtual) and the ability to create digestible aesthetically pleasing deliverables.
  • Experience with building practice areas and organized repeatable offerings is highly desirable.
  • Experience with program and change management specifically regarding enterprise transformations digital transformation and SaaS adoption.
  • Technically curious and willing to work across go-to-market teams with a focus on reusable assets and upleveling others
