The Boeing Company is currently seeking a high performing versatile Experienced Test Automation Engineer to join the Product Support and Services Mobility and Innovation team. The team provides comprehensive digitally native mobile progressive web and innovation solutions to rapidly access and transform complex business scenarios by enabling digital products that enhance revenue opportunities and efficiencies for Boeing. Responsibilities include performance test automation and integration for a variety of Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) and in house software application supporting our business lines. This role will be based out of Bangalore India.

Position Responsibilities:

• Creates Automated Testing Frameworks from Scratch(TDD and BDD)
• Creates POC for new Testing tools and frameworks
• Prepares appropriate documentation as required by internal product development processes and regulatory agencies
• Executes test scripts and test protocols.
• Supports and enhances the automated testing framework.
• Experienced in software configuration management concepts and processes of managing a software system throughout the testing lifecycle
• Analyze change requests customer issues and relevant facts to determine testing estimates and risks.
• Support change control process and changes to applications during testing.
• Consult with customers to clarify and refine complex requirements.
• Interpret and translate requirements into functional test scenarios and scripts
• Analyze and recommend test scenarios and scripts for test automation

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Testing skills sets with JS REST Angular BackboneJS reactJS FlexUI data visualization Gradle Maven GITTFS.
• Knowledge & Experience in Software Quality Assurance Process and QA methodologies
• Proficient in writing SQL queries
• Familiarity with process of test automation tool selection & test approach
• Experience in designing and development of automation framework and creation of scripts using best industry practices such as Page object model
• Integrate test suites into the test management system and custom test harness
• Familiar with implementation of design patterns modularization and user libraries for framework creation
• Good understanding of OOPS concepts and strong programming skills in Java
• Understanding of SOAP and REST principles
• In-depth hands-on experience of working with at least one API testing tool like Rest Assured SOAP UI
• Hands-on experience working with Postman or similar tool
• Hands-on experience in parsing complex JSON & XML and data validation using serialization techniques like POJO classes or similar
• Hands-on experience in performing Request and Response Schema validation Response codes and exceptions
• Good Understanding of BDD TDD methodologies and tools like Cucumber TestNG Junit or similar.
• Experience in defining API E2E testing strategy designing and development of API automation framework
• Working experience on build tools Maven / Gradle Git etc.
• Expertise in creating test automation frameworks implementing and maintaining them on a project Experience in the modern agile practices such as BDD/Cucumber Devops

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Knowledge of Architectural and REST principles
• Exposure to unit testing/UI automation will be a plus
• DevOps (Bamboo build and test)
• Bamboo system and infrastructure
• Bash and power shell scripting
• Proficient in Agile Methodologies (eg. Scrum Kanban)
• Experience in Data structures algorithms and Design Patterns.
• Implement Fastlane for iOS development and release in Bamboo build plans

Typical Education & Experience:

• Typically 8-12 years related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor Master etc.) preferred but not required.
