This opportunity is ideal for a dynamic and hands on Employee Relations leader who thrives in a standalone role and enjoys being a strategic partner to the business. The majority of this position centers on driving employee relations initiatives and conducting complex workplace investigations at the corporate level as well as primarily supporting a newly onboarded AI-sector client.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee relations matters across branch locations
- Lead and manage investigations employee relations cases and sensitive workplace issues
- Ensure compliance with employment laws workplace standards and organizational policies
- Support branch leadership with guidance on legalities off-boarding disciplinary actions and case handling
- Provide coaching training and mentorship to managers navigating hiring team restructuring performance concerns and workforce best practices
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure alignment on compliance risk mitigation and people strategy
- Contribute to additional corporate-level business initiatives (approximately 30% of role)
Ideal Background
- Extensive experience in employee relations and workplace investigations
- Strong working knowledge of multi-state employment practices and compliance
- Ability to operate independently and confidently as a standalone manager
- Exceptional judgment communication and stakeholder management skills
- Workplace Compliance or similar certification strongly preferred
