Shift Hours: 7:30 PM 6:00 AM
Hours per Day: 10
Total Hours per Week: 40
Position Overview
A healthcare facility is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist to join its diagnostic imaging team on a night-shift contract assignment. The technologist will perform high-quality radiographic procedures while ensuring patient safety comfort and compliance with imaging standards.
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations as ordered
Position patients accurately to obtain optimal image quality
Operate radiographic equipment following safety and radiation protection guidelines
Verify patient identity and procedure orders prior to imaging
Maintain accurate documentation and image records
Ensure equipment readiness and report any malfunctions
Collaborate with radiologists nurses and clinical staff
Maintain compliance with departmental policies and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
Active ARRT (R) certification
Valid Ohio Radiologic Technologist license (or eligibility)
Minimum 12 years of recent X-Ray experience in an acute care or hospital setting
Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging protocols
Ability to work independently during overnight hours
