Develop organise and implement process improvements and digitalisation within the involvement of other C&C departments aiming to increase efficiency quality customer satisfaction and profitability.Ensure that Continuous Improvement is embedded in and embraced by the organisation.
Facilitate collaboration and create an environment where innovation can thrive establishing systems and structures that encourage communication across (international) departments.
Job Description
Position in the Organization
- Reports to Global Continuous Improvement manager
- Reports dotted to General Manager Philippines
- Direct reports: Local VCPH/VCPS Continuous improvement engineers
Main Duties
- Identify and prioritize improvement and digitalization projects to enhance quality reduce costs and improve processes. Coaching & Quality Awareness
- Develop annual plans and resolve urgent product issues such as customer complaints.
- Motivate and train employees in quality awareness and Operational Excellence (Lean Six Sigma Kaizen)..
- Lead and guide Continuous Improvement Engineers and Continuous improvement analyst.
- Monitor project progress and report results using KPIs.
- Coordinate with other C&C entities and advise management on innovation and digitalization.
- Analyze recurring customer complaints to drive quality improvements.
Background
Higher professional education (preferably Mechanical Engineering) Leadership experience in a technical international engineering and production environment Project management skills
Skills
Materials knowledge production processes quality assurance (ISO 9001/13485) Design for Manufacturing/Assembly (DfM/DfA)Strong communication and facilitation skills. Six Sigma DMAIC DOE MSA Lean value stream mappingExperience with data analysis tools and techniques. Project management cost control didactic skills basic leadership ERP systems
