The NC Department of Administration is the business manager for North Carolina state government. The department oversees Government Operations such as building construction purchasing and contracting for goods and services maintaining facilities managing state vehicles acquiring and disposing of real property and operating auxiliary services such as courier mail delivery and the sale of state and federal surplus property. Additionally the department manages many of the states advocacy programs that provide assistance and services to diverse segments of the states population that have been traditionally underserved.
Description of Work
To serve as manager of the Capital Project Management section within the State Construction Office. This section is composed of an Engineer III Engineer II and Engineering Technician III.Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelors degree in engineering from an appropriately accredited institution and a minimum of seven years progressive engineering experience including four years of supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Necessary Special Qualifications May require registration as a professional engineer by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors.EEO Statement
