The basics of this position:
Performs duties necessary to plan implement and manage campus-wide support services for students with disabilities; works with faculty and other instructional personnel regarding accommodations; administers department budget; monitors and advises faculty staff and administration of the Colleges mandated compliance to disability-related state and federal laws (Americans with Disabilities Act ADA Rehabilitation Act Section 504); liaison with College Compliance Director; provides training and consultative services to faculty staff students and the community; provides accommodations as necessary for college events/activities; performs normal supervisory functions.
