Job Description
Because of the need for consistent in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
Position is second shift on 4/10 schedule (Monday-Thursday)

Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. This would also include preparing the surfaces of parts assemblies and finished products by cleaning stripping abrading sanding masking and stenciling. Selects and mixes finishing materials.

Also performs a variety of duties assisting mechanical engineers in the development of mechanical and electro-mechanical engineering designs tests fabrications modifications assemblies and components. Fabricates and assembles new or modified mechanical components or assemblies. Assists with analyzing data and recommending modifications to components or test procedure to meet desired specifications. Works from process sheets diagrams and drawings makes initial layouts and uses hand and/or power tools and jigs.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Required Education Experience & Skills
Honorable Discharge from the U.S. Armed Forces or current drilling member of a Reserve/Guard component with a service-connected injury
High School Diploma or GED
1 year work experience.
Must be able to lift 20-30lbs.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Experience following processes and written instructions
Must be able to obtain SAP/SAR Clearance

Overseas operational deployment experience
Specialized or professional development schools
