Job Summary
Cloud Network Security Engineer
Location: Columbia SC
Work Model: Onsite for first 90 days then hybrid
Contract Duration: 12 Months

Position Overview
Navitas Partners LLC is seekingCloud Network Security Engineerfor an exciting job in Columbia SC.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement secure hybrid and multi-cloud network architectures across AWS and Azure
Architect VPC/VNet segmentation routing and connectivity using hub-and-spoke and transit network models
Integrate on-premises networks with cloud environments using VPN Direct Connect and ExpressRoute
Define and maintain network standards reference architectures and security guardrails
Design and manage secure ingress/egress controls and east-west traffic inspection
Implement network segmentation microsegmentation and Zero Trust security principles
Collaborate with cross-functional delivery teams to support implementation and operational readiness
Produce clear documentation including security designs deployment configurations and incident reports
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience
Active AWS or Azure cloud certification
510 years of experience in information security and infrastructure engineering
5 years of hands-on experience designing and maintaining infrastructure in AWS and/or Azure
Strong experience with cloud security architecture operations and automation
Proven ability to document security tools configurations and operational processes
Preferred Qualifications
AWS Certified Solutions Architect
Palo Alto Networks certifications (PCNSA or PCNSE)
5 years of experience deploying and managing Palo Alto VM-Series firewalls in AWS and Azure
Experience with the following technologies:
Palo Alto Firewalls
F5 Load Balancers / Firewalls
Infoblox
Forescout
Prisma Cloud
