As a Security Officer - Patrol in Las Vegas NV you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail mall location you will monitor and patrol common areas corridors and parking zones staying highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will complete routine rounds document observations respond to customer and/or tenant concerns and communicate clearly with your team. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants staff and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and established emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the mall interior common areas parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances loading and service areas and other designated locations reporting maintenance hazards suspicious behavior and policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner providing assistance with disturbances medical calls and/or lost and found situations as directed by post orders.
• Document security-related activities patrol findings and incident details in daily logs and reports and communicate updates to site leadership and local authorities when required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
