Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant Solution Architect
In this role you will be responsible for defining end-to-end solution architecture leading the design of scalable and resilient systems collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions guiding development teams on best practices and standards ensuring security performance and scalability and supporting delivery in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
Translate business requirements into scalable secure and high-level technical architectures aligned with enterprise standards.
Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies frameworks and platforms while ensuring consistency and best practices across systems.
Work closely with business product and engineering teams to clarify requirements resolve trade-offs and ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions.
Review designs identify technical risks ensure non-functional requirements (performance security availability) are met and guide teams on architectural decisions.
Provide technical guidance to development teams review implementations and ensure the solution is delivered as per the approved architecture.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in software engineering including solution or technical architecture leadership
Strong expertise in Java/J2EE Spring Boot and designing enterprise-scale RESTful and event-driven architectures
Proven experience designing and delivering cloud-native solutions on AWS/Azure/GCP
Deep understanding of microservices architecture containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
Hands-on experience with cloud services including compute storage networking messaging and monitoring
Strong knowledge of API design security (OAuth2 JWT SSO IAM) and non-functional requirements (scalability performance availability)
Proficiency in SQL and experience designing data solutions using relational and NoSQL databases
Solid understanding of SDLC Agile/Scrum and DevOps/CI/CD practices (Git Maven/Gradle pipelines)
Excellent problem-solving communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to mentor teams and drive architectural decisions
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Hands-on experience with Java Spring Boot and modern API design standards
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP
Working knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud-native patterns
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (Jenkins GitLab Azure DevOps)
Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
Understanding of performance scalability and security best practices
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration
