Internship Contamination Control

The Contamination Control Intern supports manufacturing operations by assisting in process development industrialization and continuous improvement initiatives that reduce the number of Particle & Molecular Contamination causing activities and sources. This role will be supporting CCE Initiatives and RGA Equipment for EUV.

Your Assignment:

Production Support & Troubleshooting

• Support & Maintain Particular & Molecular Contamination Testing Equipment SOP Recipes Programs Process Improvements and Maintenance.
• Support RGA Lab activities and maintenance.
• Collect andanalyze SPC datatomonitorprocess stability.
• Support & Maintain CCE Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) First Pass Yield Pareto & DN reporting and analysis to enable data-driven decision-making.

Industrialization & Structural Improvements

• Assist CCE structural process improvements to increase Productivity Efficiency & First Pass Yield (FPY) and to reduce defects related to Cleaning & Contamination.
• Support Roadmap Initiatives for CCE CAPEX Investment Continuous Improvement (Lean & Six Sigma) NPI MRO and Capacity Analysis.

New Product Introduction (NPI)

• Assist CCE processes for installation and qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) of new tools and equipment calibration.
• Assist CCE procedural process & manufacturing documentation.

Qualifications

• Education: Pursuing Bachelors with a least 3 years completed or Masters degree in Chemical Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with Quality Tools such as SPC Problem Solving Pareto Charts Histograms Root Cause Analysis Control Charts Flowcharts etc.
• Familiarity with Continuous Improvement (Lean & Six Sigma) Principles is a plus.
• Familiarity with CAD tools (SolidWorks AutoCAD NX).
• Familiarity with Project Management Principles is a plus.
• Familiarity in ERP/MES systems or other Manufacturing Systems is a plus.

Additional Responsibilities:

There is potential for exposure to strong magnetic fields high voltage and currents.

This position requires access to controlled technology as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730 et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
