What youll be doing:

  • Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment to move load and unload donated goods safely and efficiently.

  • Perform daily equipment inspections and report mechanical issues or safety concerns to the leader on duty.

  • Stack store and transport product according to inventory control and donation flow requirements.

  • Load and unload trucks containers bins and hoppers for storage shipment recycling or disposal.

  • Support waste salvage and recycling operations using baling and compaction equipment.

  • Complete required documentation including bills of lading shipping manifests and basic reports.

  • Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment within the Impact Centre.

  • Handle waste and hazardous materials in accordance with Goodwill SOPs and environmental guidelines.

  • Provide respectful reliable service to internal teams and external partners.

  • Participate in training safety meetings and provide operational support in other areas as required.

What you bring to the table:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is an asset.

  • Previous warehouse or material-handling experience is an asset.

  • Forklift certification or willingness to be trained and certified.

  • Ability to work safely in a physically demanding warehouse-based environment.

  • Capacity to regularly lift more than 10 kg (22 lbs) and perform repetitive physical tasks.

  • Strong commitment to health and safety procedures and PPE requirements.

  • Dependable reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Sufficient English communication skills to follow instructions and complete basic documentation.

  • Eligibility to work in Canada and ability to pass a Criminal Record Check.

  • Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends with reliable transportation to and from work.
