What youll be doing:
Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment to move load and unload donated goods safely and efficiently.
Perform daily equipment inspections and report mechanical issues or safety concerns to the leader on duty.
Stack store and transport product according to inventory control and donation flow requirements.
Load and unload trucks containers bins and hoppers for storage shipment recycling or disposal.
Support waste salvage and recycling operations using baling and compaction equipment.
Complete required documentation including bills of lading shipping manifests and basic reports.
Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment within the Impact Centre.
Handle waste and hazardous materials in accordance with Goodwill SOPs and environmental guidelines.
Provide respectful reliable service to internal teams and external partners.
Participate in training safety meetings and provide operational support in other areas as required.
What you bring to the table:
High school diploma or equivalent is an asset.
Previous warehouse or material-handling experience is an asset.
Forklift certification or willingness to be trained and certified.
Ability to work safely in a physically demanding warehouse-based environment.
Capacity to regularly lift more than 10 kg (22 lbs) and perform repetitive physical tasks.
Strong commitment to health and safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Dependable reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Sufficient English communication skills to follow instructions and complete basic documentation.
Eligibility to work in Canada and ability to pass a Criminal Record Check.
Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends with reliable transportation to and from work.
