STV is seeking an experienced and motivated Transportation Engineering Specialist (EIT) to design and potentially manage successful delivery of transportation infrastructure projects in Dallas TX
Functions and responsibilities include:
Design and prepare plans specifications and estimates for transportation infrastructure projects.
Evaluate feasibility and impacts of design alternatives.
Prepare calculations technical analyses reports and other project related documents.
Independently lead tasks as a part of multi-disciplinary project teams.
Communicates professionally and effectively with teammates clients teaming partners and other project stakeholders.
Assists with and participates in project pursuits and business development under direction of senior staff.
Collaborating with other market leaders to identify and pursue new business opportunities execute strategic plans and foster strategic relationships with key clients agencies and partners.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Strong experience working with the Texas DOT and other regional transportation agencies.
Design experience on highway and transportation infrastructure projects.
Successful completion of the FE exam (EIT certification) is required.
Excellent command of Microstation/OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD/Civil3D to design and produce plans for transportation projects.
Demonstrated technical skills communication skills and ability to work within diverse teams.
Active membership and participation in professional societies is encouraged.
Compensation Range:
