Responsibilities
AdvisecoachandguideadmittedGraduateBusinessstudentsthroughtheexplorationofLubars array of courses leading to a graduate degree.
Maintainthoroughknowledgeofgraduateprogramsandrequirementsaswellasthebenefitof completing a program at the Lubar College of Business.
CollaboratewiththeGraduateStudentServicesattheLubarCollegeofBusinesstodevelopandhost events and conduct outreach to admitted students.
Leadthedevelopmentandexecutionoftheannualretentionplantodeterminewhatinitiatives processes and events will be held to ensure high graduation rates.
Workdirectlywithfacultyonprogramchangesandadmissiondecisions.
Using the campus CRM data college data and qualitative data from surveys and focus groups assessrecruitmentinitiativesandtheireffectontheyieldofbusinessstudentsandrefinerecruitment plans based on findings.
Participatesinthecampus-wideadvisingcommunitygraduatecommunityetc.providinginputto leadershipregardingthedevelopmentofadvisingrecruitmentandco/curricularprogramsoffered by the school/college.
Administrative Project Managementand Operational SupporttoGraduateStudent Services
Provide high-level Graduate program administrativeassistanceandsupport day-to-dayoperations.
Plancoordinateand oversee events from initiation tocompletiondriving positive student outcomes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes deliverables timelines and responsibilities.
Act as a liaison between departments to ensure seamless project execution and communication.
Specialprojectsassigned to support positive studentoutcomesand departmental strategic goals andobjectives.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree
At least one year of experience in academic advisingorprofessional coaching/mentoringoroperational supportorproject coordinationin higher education
Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree in Higher EducationBusinessor related field
Evidence of experience working with diverse populations
Demonstrated experience working in higher educationin the area ofcareer and academic advising
Evidence of experience working collaboratively with colleagues in a team environment
Evidence of excellent verbal and written communication skills
