We are currently recruiting Forklift Operators to join our Recycling Plastics team based in Somerton Melbourne. These are permanent full-time roles working Monday to Friday on day and afternoon shift (6am to 2pm OR 2pm 10pm).

What You Will Do:

Reporting to the shift supervisor key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Operate in accordance with site safety standards and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Completing job safety prechecks of the forklift before operation.
Operate forklifts to move load and unload materials within the plant including transporting the recycled bail stock and production material as needed.
Maintain a daily production logbook and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.

What You Will Bring to the Team:

A current valid Forklift licence is essential.
Experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehousing or manufacturing environment.
A good level of physical fitness as there may be some manual handling involved.
Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
Good communication skills and enjoy working in a team environment.
