Finance - AI Intern Summer 2026
Location:Indianapolis IN or Atlanta GA.This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week fostering collaboration and connectivity while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. AFinance - AI Internwillbe responsible forsupporting ourFinance - AI teambyidentifyingand implementingnew solutionsin automation and AI within our broader Finance organization.During this summer internship the intern willhave the opportunity to interact with business leaders in developing projects and strategic initiatives to furtherfluency with and access to AI within thefinanceorganization.
This position is a full-time 10-week internship (May 18th2026July 24th2026)program in alignment with our Enterprise-wide Summer Internship program.
How you will make an impact:
Analyze large-scale and complex data sets fromreports todevelopstrategicrecommendationsfor business improvement
Collaborate with team membersto prototype AI solutions for finance professionals
Collect analyze and clearly document existing business processes to ensure a thorough understanding of current workflows
Utilize the core financial analytics skill set to develop financial profiles for automation implementation
Communicate and collaborate with internal and external business leaders
MinimumRequirements:
Actively pursuing aBachelorsdegree in either:Finance Business AnalyticsData Science Software Engineeringor related degree at an accredited university or college
The ability to work40 hoursper week for the duration of the internship and work in-office at least once per week.
Preferred Skills Capabilities and Experiences:
Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel Word and Access
Workingknowledge of Python for data analysis (e.g. pandasnumpy) exposure to SQL for querying structured datasets and/or the ability to clean join andvalidatemessy financial data
Understanding of descriptive statistics correlation vs. causation basic regression concepts
Basic familiarity with cloud tools or platforms (e.g. Azure AWS Databricks)
Knowledge of Tableau or related data visualization software
Excellent Problem-solving Analytical and Organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
An interest in health care and insurance
