F-15 Shipside Support Manager

Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an F-15 Shipside Support Manager to join the F-15 Manufacturing Integration team in Berkeley MO!

Position Responsibilities:

• Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines.
• Develops and executes business plans policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.
• Acquires resources provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports.
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes.
• Manages develops and motivates employees.

Other Position Responsibilities may Include:

• Manage activities across multiple functions to resolve emergent operational issues and support implementation of strategies and plans
• Manage process assessments against standards provide feedback and identify opportunities for improvement
• Adapt effectively to changes in work tasks structures and culture while encouraging innovative problem-solving and facilitating change acceptance
• Plan and organize work by involving stakeholders anticipating critical events assigning responsibilities and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion
• Apply knowledge of an array of manufacturing and assembly processes shop safety and quality standards to support operations
• Collaborate with various Operations and non-Operations departments to understand inter dependencies and drive effective outcomes
• Develop solutions for moderately complex problems by applying established policies procedures and best practices
• Represent the organization in interactions with internal teams and external customers on specific projects

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 5 years of experience working in an aerospace fabrication or manufacturing environment
• 1 years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role
• Strong communication collaboration and negotiation skills are required to succeed in this position as well as presentation and facilitation skills to work with cross-functional groups in establishing and achieving common goals
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelors degree or higher
• 1 years of experience with Boeing systems such as SAT MESCI & REDARS
• 1 years of experience using lean manufacturing and/or continuous improvement practices and tools
• Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment
• Prior LSCC experience
• Previous experience on F-15 program
• Understanding of One BPS process and principles
