Key Responsibilities
Support the Principal in daily school operations and serve as acting leader as needed
Supervise instructional staff and support classroom management and student behavior
Assist with curriculum development school policies and instructional improvement
Ensure compliance with IEP IDEA and MSDE requirements
Collaborate with teachers families and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
Participate in student placement admissions and Extended School Year (ESY) coordination
Maintain a safe inclusive and high-performing school environment
Required Qualifications
Masters degree in School Administration Educational Leadership or related field
Maryland Administrator I or II Certification (or eligibility)
Experience in special education school leadership or instructional supervision
Strong knowledge of IEP law IDEA and school compliance standards
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and foster a positive school culture
