Pay Rate: $23.00 to $25.00 hourly with a discounted 2-bed/2-bath unit

Schedule: Full-time 40 Hours per Week


About the Role

The Property Manager is responsible for the overall operational financial and regulatory compliance performance of an Affordable Housing residential community. This is not a conventional market-rate Property Manager role: success in this position requires strong attention to program compliance resident eligibility documentation accuracy and Fair Housing regulations alongside day-to-day property operations.


This role oversees resident relations lease administration maintenance coordination rent collection reporting and Affordable Housing compliance requirements to ensure the property remains safe well-maintained audit-ready and fully compliant with all applicable regulations.


The Property Manager serves as the primary point of contact for residents vendors regulatory partners and internal stakeholders. This position requires strong organization sound judgment consistency and the ability to balance compassionate resident service with firm policy enforcement in a regulated housing environment.


What Youll Do

  • Oversee daily operations of an Affordable Housing community ensuring compliance with Fair Housing and program regulations
  • Support the Regional Property Supervisor with overall property performance and reporting
  • Market and lease units in accordance with Affordable Housing guidelines; pre-lease to minimize vacancy
  • Manage resident relations address concerns professionally and enforce community rules consistently
  • Handle rent collection notices delinquency tracking and related transactions using Yardi
  • Prepare and serve required notices (including 3-Day Notices) in compliance with local and state regulations
  • Ensure full compliance with landlord-tenant laws Fair Housing and Affordable Housing requirements
  • Conduct regular property inspections to maintain safety cleanliness and habitability
  • Coordinate maintenance work orders and unit turns; ensure make-readies are completed within 35 business days
  • Process invoices through Yardi Payscan and maintain accurate documentation
  • Respond to emergencies and attend legal proceedings when required
  • Attend required trainings meetings and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Yardi Voyager experience preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Affordable Housing Property Management.
  • Strong Customer Service Experience
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong leasing experience
  • Proficient in Word Excel Outlook and Microsoft Teams
