Job Summary
Seeking reliable team players to join our landscaping crews while following instructions and paying close attention to detail.
Valid drivers license is preferred but not necessarily required.
Job description requires landscaping duties including but not limited to use hand/power tools & other equipment lay sod mow trim plant water fertilize dig rake; install mortarless masonry wall units.
Potential for winter hours would consist of snow removal. Snow removal would contain of hand shoveling to apply de-icing materials to walks with a spreader operating a snow blower hand spreading of de-icing materials operating a snowplow truck and salt spreader operating a skid loader to push snow and load trucks being available on an on-call basis anytime of the day/night throughout the winter months.
Requirements:
High school diploma/GED preferred
General knowledge of landscape maintenance
Experience with professional landscaping company preferred not necessary
Able to lift at least 50 lbs
Ability to operate various equipment
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

- The physical activities of this position include:
- Balancing Must maintain body equilibrium to prevent falling or walking standing or crouching.

- Walking The person in this position needs to move about on foot to accomplish task particularly for long distances or moving from one location to another within the work site.
- Use hands/fingers dexterity Constantly Picking pinching otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand as in handling.
- Grasping Must be able to apply pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.
- Talking- The person in this position frequently communicates with Foreman/Supervisor. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken information accurately loudly or quickly.
- Repetitive motion Constant movements (motions) of the wrists hands and/or fingers.
The physical requirements of this positions:
- Lifting Frequently moves equipment and material weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Drivers Requires good eyesight hearing and physical condition.
- The conditions the worker will be subject to in this position:
- Work is performed primarily in a field environment with travel from site to site
- Exposed to work in moving traffic areas
- Constant exposure to outside elements e.g. heat or cold
This position may exceed the standard 40-hour workweek during busier parts of season. One must be flexible and well organized as job expectations may change due to the nature of our business.

Education:

- Landscape maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
