Your Team & Role
As a DirectorInformation Security Operationsleadingthe Network SecurityGovernance & Standardsteamwithin the Network Security function part of theInformation Security Office(ISO)you will partner with other security professionals to improve thenetworksecuritygovernance processesmetrics standards network security requestprocess modernizationand many other aspects of the network security program.You willdeterminemethods and procedures on new assignments as a strategic leader within the organization. You will work on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of risk and controls to ensure security of our products and customers! Inaddition toadeeptechnical understanding of network securityinformation securitygovernance/standards/exceptionframeworksandrequest/change trackingsystem designexpertise you will bring excellent problem solving communication and teamwork skills along with agile ways of working strong business insight an inclusive leadership attitude and a continuous learning focus to all that you do.
Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical Day
Oversee project and operational work while guiding and transferring knowledge to more junior team members
Function as an escalation point for operational work handled by more junior staff on the team managing and resolving issues independently
Leveragenetworksecurityand tool/process specific knowledge as well as organizational and industry knowledge to resolve complex technical/process/people problems.
Partner with leadership to set direction for the future ofnetwork securityprogram while ensuringan accurateunderstanding and in-depth knowledge of daily operations to enhance and improve information security processes and controls
Drivethedevelopmentand reporting of network security related metrics
Drive the modernization of network security request processes including overseeing the development of the request process/flows
Overseethe team handlingday-to-daynetwork security interactions inclusive of questions and requestsinbound to the ISO from business partners and other stake holders
Bring adeep understanding ofnetwork securitycybersecuritygovernanceframeworksand emerging riskstoguideteam membersand embed learning and innovation in the day-to-dayof the network security governance team
The Skills &ExpertiseYou Bring
Bachelor of Computer Science/Engineeringor Information Technologyor experience in related fields
Ability to leadoneself and a teamindependently with minimal guidance and effectivelyleveragediverse ideasexperiencesand perspectives to the benefit of the organization
Experience with agile development/program managementmethodologies
Knowledge of business concepts and information security tools and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the companys business
Demonstrated network securityrelated experience
Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an on-going basis through self-initiative and tackling challenges
Excellent problem solving communicationand collaboration skills
Demonstratedknowledge inclusive of development experienceof change/network security request systems(e.g.Service Now)
Significant experienceand/or deepexpertisewith several of the following:
Information SecurityPolicyStandards Procedures and Engineering Specifications
Networksecurity tooling and design experience
Information Security Risk Assessment processes
Information Security governance and control processes
Metrics creation and reporting
Management of developer teamsto drive security/process related outcomes
ServiceNowadministration/development/process creation
Managementof exceptions to security standards
NIST and ISO 27000 Standards
Preferred qualifications:
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
Applicable SANS Certifications
Industry and tool certifications related to network security tooling/processes/governance
