DESCRIPTION:
Join our team as a Global Relationship Director and contribute to growth for Thermo Fisher Scientifics most valuable customer this role youll develop and execute strategic account plans working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative enterprise-wide solutions. As the primary relationship manager for strategic accounts youll guide account management teams implement governance programs and expand business opportunities while providing an excellent customer experience.
Youll collaborate with leaders across divisions to identify growth opportunities address critical issues and ensure consistent service delivery. This role provides an opportunity to work with Thermo Fishers comprehensive portfolio of products and capabilities while helping customers advance their scientific missions. Your strategic insights and relationship-building skills will help strengthen customer partnerships and drive profitable growth across multiple service lines and sites.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors Degree 10 years of experience in senior account management or business development within pharmaceutical biotechnology or life sciences industries
Masters Degree preferred
Strong background in science with deep understanding of pharmaceutical/biotech industry dynamics
Experience managing strategic customer relationships at executive levels
Financial and analytical skills including P&L management and complex deal structuring
Relationship-building abilities and influence skills in matrix environments
Experience growing revenue through strategic account planning and execution
Project management capabilities and experience leading cross-functional teams
Strong presentation negotiation and communication skills
Proficiency with CRM systems Microsoft Office and business analytics tools
Ability to travel 25-40% to customer sites
Experience with governance programs and executive-level customer engagement
Experience developing and implementing strategic growth initiatives
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry compliance standards
Additional language capabilities preferred

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $186100.00$279000.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company team and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
