The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Materials Management First Line Manager to support the F/A-18 and B-52 programs in San Antonio TX who manages employees performing supply chain activities within Product Support. This selected candidate will develop and execute projects and process plans implement policies and procedures and sets operational goals. Acquires resources for projects and processes provide technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing technical or specialist activities within Product Support

  • Develops and executes project and process plans implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals

  • Acquires resources for projects and processes provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes

  • Manages develops and motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5 years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with cross-functional teams customers stakeholder peers and partners

  • Experience working with Boeing Supply Chain tools and processes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or higher

  • Experience in Department of Defense Supply Chain processes and tools

  • Experience in a managerial or leadership role
