Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Carpenter / Skilled Laborer to join our commercial and residential construction team. This position is ideal for someone with carpentry experience and a broad skill set across multiple trades. Work includes new construction renovations and repairs on both residential and commercial projects.
- Perform rough and finish carpentry work
- Assist with and perform tasks across multiple trades including drywall painting flooring concrete and minor electrical or plumbing (as permitted)
- Read and interpret blueprints drawings and work orders
- Frame walls floors and roofs
- Install doors windows trim cabinetry and hardware
- Demolition site prep and material handling
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean organized and safe job site
- Work with supervisors subcontractors and other crew members to complete projects on schedule
- Experience in carpentry and general construction
- Ability to work across multiple trades with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of construction tools materials and methods
- Basic understanding of building codes and job site safety
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required
- Reliable transportation and valid drivers license
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in varying weather conditions
- Experience in both commercial and residential construction
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Ability to lead helpers or apprentices
