Position Summary:

This position oversees and leads the Food and Beverage Managers in all daily operational addition this position assists in the overall management of the Front of House F&B operations.

Other responsibilities:

• Develop active knowledge of food and beverage products served in the outlets
• Actively supervise and assist with the greeting of food and beverage guests.
• Create weekly schedule for F.O.H. staff.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive specialty beverage program to complement the current wine program.
• Develop customer feedback program and respond to positive and negative comments regarding outlets I.E. Travel Zoo S.E.L. website and comment cards and Tripadvisor
• Develop and implement a training program including food and beverage menu education tools customer service up selling and hotel food and beverage standards relating to the above departments. Train and develop staff to meet standards criteria for Steins Way standards Forbes standards.
• Set and monitor check average goals by utilizing budget forecasts.
• Monitor and maintain all required staff certifications (food Handlers TIPS etc.)
• Reconcile daily product sales with inventory to comply with UDABC regulations.
• Maintain equipment required by UDABC i.e. Clickers label locks and signage.
• Work with Sommeliers to complete and submit all training and reporting to UDABC.
• Develop and implement inventory controls and par lists for Outlets.
• Maintain POS system by keeping database current and organized.
• Supervise the cleanliness of all areas related to the Outlets.
• Actively participate in the preparation of fiscal budgets and goals.
• Work with the Food and Beverage Department to foster in departmental teamwork and communication including cross-training of staff.
• Cover Restaurant Manager shifts and MOD for the property as scheduled.
• Attend and contribute to weekly F&B meetings.
• Attend and contribute to monthly SEL departmental meetings.
• Represent all restaurant outlets at group precons
• Prepare and implement annual goals and quarterly action plans.
• Know location of all rooms and function areas of the property.
• Monitor accuracy of staffs paperwork and money drops.
• Have great working knowledge of SEL Deer Valley & Park City
• Offer unyielding assistance to our guests and your fellow associates.
• Other duties as assigned

Education Experience and Skills Required:

• College degree preferred/ High School diploma
• Five years relevant restaurant management experience
• Excellent communication skills and leadership skills
• Professional appearance.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Required Experience:

Manager
