What You Will Be Doing:
  • The Accountant 4 will serve as a high-level supervisor and principal assistant to the Accounting Section Manager for a complex and critical unit within the Alaska Medicaid program.
  • Provides oversight of reform and cost-savings initiatives including management of the Third-Party Liability (TPL) contractor.
  • Supports Medicaid Allocation and Audit Services (MAAS) with annual budget management reporting and reconciliation across multiple fund sources.
  • Oversees recoveries and collections tied to federal settlements restitution commercial insurance and Indian Health Services (IHS) and IHS-related funding streams.
  • Leads reconciliation and reporting for CMS 64 CMS R-199 CMS-10180 IBNR Drug Rebates and Medicaid/CHIP program audits including legislative audit responses.
