Job Title: Sonographer Ultrasound / Vascular

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Sonographer with required breast imaging experience to perform diagnostic ultrasound and vascular examinations. This role requires independent clinical judgment technical expertise and effective communication with radiologists to support accurate diagnoses and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Independently operate ultrasound and vascular imaging equipment to perform diagnostic examinations
Perform breast ultrasound studies along with abdominal and OB/GYN imaging
Obtain and review relevant patient medical history prior to examinations
Use independent judgment during exams to accurately differentiate between normal and pathological findings
Communicate exam results and pertinent observations to radiologists
Manage daily operations of the sonographic laboratory including patient scheduling
Perform routine equipment maintenance quality assurance and safety checks
Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with departmental standards
Ensure patient safety comfort and privacy throughout all procedures
Adhere to all established policies procedures and infection control guidelines

Required Qualifications

Graduate of an ultrasound program accredited by CHEA (Council for Higher Education Accreditation) or recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
RDMS certification in Abdominal and OB/GYN
Minimum 1 year of professional experience as a diagnostic medical sonographer
Breast ultrasound experience is required
Ability to successfully pass pre-employment health clearance
