We offer specialty and emergency services in Surgery Internal Medicine Neurology Medical Oncology Emergency and Critical Care. What Youll Do
- Perform high-quality ultrasound studies and obtain diagnostic samples as requested
- Collaborate with teleconsultation radiologists and maintain strong professional relationships while incorporating their feedback
- Ensure all training content and activities align with SLVS culture mission and vision and reflect accurate up-to-date sonographic techniques
- Meet regularly with the Hospital Manager and Medical Director to discuss:
- Implementation of new training protocols
- Hospital training needs
- Team feedback and concerns
What You Need
- Credentialed as a Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT/LVMT) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and/or equivalent experience (such as formal sonography course certificates)
- 3 years of veterinary ultrasound experience
- Previous training experience with the patience and passion to teach and develop doctors nurses and fellow sonographers
- Confidence in mentoring others and both giving and receiving constructive feedback
- A strong desire to continue growing as a sonographer through ongoing training and continuing education
