Job Summary

Role: Senior Building Services Engineer

Client:Leading Residential Developer

Essentials:Qualification in Mechanical Electrical or Building Services Engineering;Strong understanding of residential M&E systems and emerging energy-efficient technologies;Full driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.

Location:Multi-site in Dublin

Overseeing: M&E sub-contractors and supporting site teams

Reporting into: Building Services Manager

Manage and monitor the quality of M&E installations from early coordination through commissioning and final handover.
Support site construction teams with on-site M&E coordination and technical problem-solving.
Oversee M&E subcontractors to ensure works are delivered in line with programme and quality standards.
Coordinate M&E interfaces with architectural and structural elements alongside design teams.
Ensure consistent implementation of building services procedures and standards across sites.
Provide guidance to junior Building Services team members to promote a standardised approach.
Liaise with utility providers and local authorities to ensure timely delivery of permanent services.
Support innovation and value engineering initiatives relating to mechanical and electrical systems.
Assist in maintaining and updating M&E procedures standards and documentation.
Oversee temporary site services including electrical and water systems.
