Senior Linux System Administrator internally known as SeniorAnalyst InformationWorkplaceServicescollaborateand supportexciting critical programs with classified information system this role means you candevelop implement and maintain secure cost-efficientenvironmentsacross various classified programs. Program teams rely on yourcollaborationand guidance to define computing requirements andcreateend-to-endsolutionstosolvecomplexIT infrastructure problems.

What You Will Do:

• Provide Linux systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red HatEnterpriseLinuxenvironment.
• Working as a team member in afast-pacedtechnologicalenvironment. Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems.
• Install and configure software applications requested by end users.
• Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements.
• Provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures and other tasks as assigned.
• Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours.
• Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date.
• Travelrequiredas businessneedsdictate to other US Domestic locations up to 5% per year.
• Full time 100% onsite position in Andover MA location.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires bachelors and minimum of 2yearsof relevant prior experience.
• Must have active and maintain a U.S. government issued secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Experience with installation configuration and administration of Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating systems.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience with data RAID data backup uses and technologies.
• Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security CE or equivalent certification and an Operating System Certification)
• Experience with NISPOM JAFAN JSIG DFARS and/or DoD/RMF
• Experience with data storage NAS and SAN technologies andsolutions
• Experience with using Information Technology project lifecyclemanagementprocesses.
• Experience using VMWare vCenter vSphere and ESX and/or other virtual computing methods.
• Experiencesupportingengineers in software simulations and hardware development.
• High Performance Computing (HPC) experience in a Linuxenvironment
• Linux Ansible/scripting experience

The salary range for this role is 68900 USD - 131100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
