The Sponsorship Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of HealthFund Solutions Sponsorship employees both on and off site. The Sponsorship Manager will manage staffing performance and other operations within each assigned region. This position will require travel to facilities on a rotating basis and possibly some weekends.
Assist with reviewing candidate assessments and conducting interviews as needed
Coach and mentor Insurance Advocates
Monitor and assist team leads productivity with completion of accounts where insurance premiums are delinquent or premium support is requested
Hire and train new Insurance Advocates
For new hires and existing employees; Obtain badging confirm desk space equipment and parking; Assist with any onsite workspace relocation requests.
Delegate daily work assignments
Approve budget for ACA Marketplace applications and enrollment support
Review hospital daily status report for any workflow accuracy or process issues
Review employee follow-ups that are due for accuracy
Check that employees are responding to emails and phone messages
Hold weekly team meetings
Approve team timecards and time off requests daily
Maintain staff schedules both on and off site as needed
Identify and correct any HIPAA compliance issues
Complete direct reports for performance reviews disciplinary actions performance improvement plans and react to tardiness or attendance issues
Audit KPIs reports
Managers must be on camera unmuted and ready to participate in group meetings
Attempt to resolve a patient or client complaint or concerns before escalating to Regional Managers
Report any concerns regarding daily workflow processes FileMaker problems issues with employees patient or client complaints as soon as reported.
Other duties as assigned
Travel to facilities on a rotating basis is mandatory
May be required to attend onsite and virtual educational sessions for informational purposes.
High School Diploma required
College Degree or some college preferred
Three (3) to five (5) years of Insurance knowledge or Call Center environment
At least three (3) years of prior experience managing staff
Must understand copay co-insurance and deductibles with commercial insurance
Understand all qualifications required for Medicaid and Disability
Ability to communicate effectively in speaking and writing as needed
Must have strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
Must be able to multitask
Must be able to work under conditions that are high in stress
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
Ability to multitask stay organized prioritize and manage time efficiently
Must be detail oriented and consistently work with a sense of urgency
Ability to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
Excellent leadership team building and management skills
Excellent computer skills Microsoft Office Suite (Word PowerPoint
Outlook and Excel and instructional software
Must have valid drivers license with clean driving record and active auto insurance
*Remote/Hybrid at any point if required to work from home a minimum internet speed of 75Mbps and reliable cellular signal is required to be able to do this job effectively
Bilingual with Spanish preferred
