Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an experienced Medical Technologist for our Rapid Response Lab at Johnson Memorial Hospital.
Our vision is to provide state-of-the-art healthcare to those within our local communities creating a positive impact for each individual that walks through our doors. This person is responsible for providing highly skilled analysis of blood fluids and tissue samples.
What you will do:
Determines normal and abnormal components of body fluids by conducting chemical analyses of blood urine spinal fluids and gastric juices.
Analyzes blood cells by counting and identifying cells using microscopic techniques and procedures
Ensures operation of analyzers and all laboratory equipment by calibrating; completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturers instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.

What you need:
Education: Bachelors Degree in Medical Technology from a accredited college/university and successful completion of NAACLS accredited MT program or MLT certification program.
Certification: MT-ASCP or equivalent level certification offered by one of the professional societies. Or must be eligible to take Certification exam and achieve certification within the first year of employment.
Experience: New Grads Welcome experience preferred.
