Job Summary

Responsibilities:Develop and execute effective English language instruction for students with diverse linguistic research-based strategies and methodologies to facilitate language English language proficiency levels of English Language Learners (ELLs) using appropriate assessment and evaluate student progress adjusting instructional strategies as individualized and small-group support to address the specific needs of ELL with general education teachers to facilitate the integration of ELL teaching strategies into daily classroom a culturally responsive learning environment that values and respects the diverse backgrounds of ELL curriculum and lead classes in a weekly special subject Global Studies to foster awareness of cultural and linguistic diversity around the world and to build civic engagement regular communication with parents/guardians of ELL students regarding their childs academic with other ESL teachers general education teachers and support team meetings and participate in professional development accurate and up-to-date records of student assessments progress reports and parent communication.
