How youll contribute
- Provides direct and indirect patient care in the office/clinic setting. Maintains regulatory requirements nursing and office/clinic policies procedures and standards. Communicate with physicians and team members about patients clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
- Obtains patient history reason for visit vital signs height weight smoking status allergies and current medication on all patient visits
- Performs EKGs ear irrigations draws injections accurately and administer correctly administer medications (topical oral or injection) correctly. Collects and labels specimens properly and sends to appropriate designated lab.
- Assist in scanning documents answering phones scheduling appointment talking messages calling prescriptions or any other duties that will help with efficiency of the office.
- Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
- Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient protecting the patients rights.
- Requires critical thinking skills decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.

What we are looking for:
Required License:
- Licensed Practical Nurse
- Current LPN licensure to practice in the state of Kentucky or a current LPN licensure with a multistate compact status
Certifications:
- Current American Heart Association BLS certificate or obtain within 90 days after hire date
