Moran Assistant Superintendent of Human ResourcesSUBJECT: Music Department- Curriculum Design TeamCurriculum Design Team responsibilities include selecting appropriate instructional methods defining time frames and preparing staff training materials in physical and digital :Strong digital and research skillsExcellent collaboration and written and verbal communication skillsGreat networking and interpersonal abilitiesStrong planning skillsInsightful vision and creative intelligenceA clear grasp and understanding of Backward DesignKeen ability to find connections and gaps in instructionResponsibilities:Conduct skills gap analyses districtwideReview previous curriculum and make adjustments according to current DESE Arts FrameworksDesign detailed educational curriculum including check ins benchmarks and target datesSet learning objectives for each grade and courseDetermine evaluation criteriaOrganize physical and digital resources for teachersProvide manuals and guidelines on how to use online/in person training materialFollow up with teachers after each course and collect feedbackResearch and recommend current and most effective music educational methods10 hours time commitmentCompensation: According to contract (up to 10 hours)Funding source: Title II
