Job Summary: | This faculty member will practice as a member of the multidisciplinary teams in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) of the University of Colorado Hospital on the Anschutz Medical Campus of the University of Colorado in Aurora Colorado. The CICU currently has two general cardiology and one advanced heart failure/heart transplant teams. As part of the advanced heart failure service the faculty member will be expected to participate as an active member of the weekly heart transplant selection meetings and transplant discharge patient education. The successful candidate will practice in partnership with other faculty at the School of Pharmacy. This faculty member will be expected to participate in innovative clinical practices in the CICU (50-60% time) which serves as a model site for student and resident training and affords opportunities for scholarly and research activities. In addition to clinical practice the successful candidate for this position will be expected to provide classroom-based and experiential teaching and course direction within the Doctor of Pharmacy curriculum (both on-campus and distance degree programs) engage in service and scholarship activities in support of their clinical and teaching efforts and to pursue endeavors that advance their professional development as an academician. Anticipated Pay Range: | The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE: $126247 to $137220 The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
