Hands at Home Care Services is hiring Full-Time Caregiversin the Portland and surrounding areas. This is a guaranteed-hours position if a client shift cancels you still get paid.

About the Role

As a Full-Time Caregiver youll provide:

• Personal care and assistance with daily activities
  
  

• Companionship and light homemaking
  
  

• Coverage support for clients when regular caregivers are unavailable
  
  

This role is ideal for caregivers who:

• Enjoy variety and meeting different clients
  
  

• Want reliable income without worrying about cancellations
  
  

• Are comfortable traveling within a defined service area
  
  

When client hours are light youll still be paid through training shadowing or support work to meet your weekly guarantee.

Schedule

• Weekdays with occasional weekends
  
  

• Hours generally between 6:30 AM 6:00 PM
  
  

• At least 25 hours/week guaranteed (with potential for more)
  
  

• Occasional daytime backup availability (paid and fully supported no overnight on-call)
  
  

• Major holidays off unless you choose to work
  

Travel

• Portland and surrounding service area
  
  

• Most assignments are local; occasional longer drives may occur
  
  

• Mileage reimbursed at $0.725/mile

What Were Looking For

• 1 year caregiving experience preferred (home care assisted living or facility)
  
  

• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation - Preferred
  
  

• Ability to pass a background check
  
  

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility
  
  

• Immunization records (MMR Varicella Flu within past 12 months)
