Analytics Data Engineer

Job Description:
As the first dedicated Analytics Engineer you will own the end-to-end data stack for a platform with over one million active users. Reporting to the founders youll transform raw data into a trustworthy source of truth using dbt and Python enabling self-serve insights and driving product decisions through advanced experimentation and AI feedback loops.

What you will do:

Design and maintain the semantic layer and core data models using dbt to transform raw events into conformed datasets.
Build and orchestrate reliable ELT pipelines with < 1 hour latency to move data from production into the analytics warehouse.
Partner with Product and Finance to codify KPIs implement A/B testing frameworks and establish rigorous data governance standards.

The ideal candidate:

Proven experience building scalable data systems using SQL dbt and Python within a fast-paced startup environment.
Deep understanding of event tracking subscription analytics and the ability to build pipelines that drive engagement metrics.
A proactive maker mindset with the communication skills to bridge the gap between technical data modeling and business impact.
