Job requirements

We are looking for a Backend Engineer (Python) to join our team at straiv. In this role youll play a key part in designing developing and maintaining our Hotel App.

Key Responsibilities

Plan develop test and release new features in collaboration with the team.
Take a hands-on role in building systems from the ground up contributing to strategic engineering initiatives as we rebuild our platform.
Continuously improve the performance scalability and reliability of our applications.
Ensure high code quality through best practices like code reviews testing and documentation.
You share your technical knowledge and guide other developers in the team and thus continuously contribute to the improvement of our solution.

What you bring

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience withPython FastAPI.
Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and AWS.
Plus points for experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL MS SQL)
Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to tackling technical challenges.
Excellent collaboration skills thriving in a fast-paced environment.
English fluency (written & spoken)
A valid work permit forGermany.
