Job Summary

General Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Electrical and Mechanical this role you will be responsible for assembling testing and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical components and systems in a manufacturing or production environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to start their career in assembly with opportunities for training and growth within the organization.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to 3D model work instructions blueprints and schematics.
  • Perform wiring soldering crimping and basic mechanical assembly as needed.
  • Use hand tools power tools and specialized equipment to complete assembly tasks.
  • Inspect assembled products for quality accuracy and adherence to specifications.
  • Identify and address basic assembly defects or errors escalating more complex issues to the supervisor.
  • Conduct basic functional tests on assembled systems and components.
  • Identify and repair minor issues or ensure proper escalation for more complex problems.
  • Maintain neat and organized workstations tools and materials.
  • Accurately complete required documentation such as work logs or production records.
  • Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.
  • Monitor equipment and work areas to maintain safe and clean working conditions.
  • Work cooperatively with colleagues in a team-oriented environment.
  • Can be self-sufficient with minimal supervision.
  • Participate in on-the-job training and development to enhance assembly skills.

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or GED is required; vocational or technical training in electrical or mechanical assembly is a plus.

Experience:

  • Familiarity with electrical or mechanical assembly processes and tools (such as Band saws hole drilling Disk sander Bench grinder Arbor press ect.) On-the-job training will be provided.
  • CNC CAD CAM experience (SolidWorks Autodesk Inventor or fusion) is a plus.
  • 3D printing experience is a plus
  • Brother and Brady label machine experience is a plus

Technical Skills:

  • Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints schematics and work instructions (preferred).
  • Comfortable using hand tools power tools and measurement devices (e.g. calipers multimeters).

Soft Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative.
  • Microsoft office 365.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as work instructions blueprints safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees of organization.
