Job Description: Automated Design Engineer
Location: Singapore
Salary: 115000 per month (approx.)

Job Summary
The Automated Design Engineer will be responsible for designing developing and supporting automated systems and machine components using advanced design tools. The role involves close coordination with automation controls and manufacturing teams to ensure accurate efficient and production-ready designs.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop automated machine components assemblies and systems using SolidWorks
Prepare 2D drawings 3D models layouts and detailed manufacturing drawings
Support automation projects by translating functional requirements into mechanical designs
Coordinate with PLC controls and electrical teams to ensure design compatibility
Review designs for manufacturability safety and performance standards
Assist in prototype development testing and design validation
Implement design changes based on testing feedback and production requirements
Maintain proper documentation BOMs and revision control
Support troubleshooting and improvement of existing automated systems
Ensure compliance with industry standards and company design guidelines
Essential Qualifications
Diploma / Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering Mechatronics or related field
Minimum 25 years of experience in automated or machine design (preferred)
Hands-on experience in industrial automation or machinery design environments
Required Skills & Technical Competencies
Strong knowledge of Automated Design concepts
Proficiency in SolidWorks (part modeling assemblies drawings)
Basic understanding of PLC systems or G-code programming
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and mechanical components
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Familiarity with automation equipment such as conveyors actuators sensors and motors
