JOB TITLE: VP Chief Information Officer
Description:
The Chief Information Officers (CIO) role is to provide vision and leadership for developing and implementing information technology strategy and initiatives. The CIO directs the planning andimplementation of enterprise IT systems in support of business operations to improve cost effectiveness service quality and business development.
This individual is responsible for all aspects of the organizations information technology andsystems. (S)he will serve as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team to ensure enablingtechnology serves as a source of strategic differentiation in the planning and execution of the corporate and individual lines of business strategies.
Given the importance of innovation and emerging technologies this person will need to possess not only depth of technicalexpertise but also key behavioral attributes to influence outcomescollaborate across theenterprise anddrive results in a consistent and progressive manner.
Additionally the CIO will foster a culture of collaboration and accountability while building trust andstrengtheningengagement across the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
Set and execute a cohesive technology strategy that is aligned with the overall business strategy. Play an active leadership role on the Senior Leadership Team contributing tocompany-wide direction while ensuring technology initiatives are aligned with enterprisepriorities and deliver measurable impact.
Develop and lead a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy to protect critical systems data and operationsensuring compliance resilience and risk mitigation across a complex manufacturing and supply chain environment. Regularly report cybersecurity status risks and mitigation plans to the executive team and Board.
Create a data and analytics roadmap allowing for a more comprehensive data experience. Enhance current data platform allowing for real-time data and analytics addition setting a master data management and data governance policyand procedures.
Leverage advanced technologies (e.g. AI/ML) and automation to drive operationalexcellenceand a competitive advantage. This includes streamlining processes enablingdata-drivendecision-making andsupporting scalable growth. Strong focus on prioritizingsolutions that enhance productivity reduce manual effort and differentiate our operations.
Ensure that adequate process and change management controls exist within the development andimplementationlife cycle. Drive adoption processes and ensureemployees are equipped engaged and aligned withnew technologyintroductions.
Partner with the Senior Leadership Team and Board to develop strategies and technology thatsupportthe companys growth agenda. Translate strategic priorities into clearactionable goals by building and executing a Technology Roadmap that drives businessoutcomes and enables long-term growth.
Lead the execution of a forward-looking and scalable technology architecture providing clarity and discipline in delivering against a multi-year roadmap with milestones thatsupport business transformation.
Build and lead a high-performing Technology team ensuring the right talent structure and development practices are in place to achieve ambitious outcomes with urgency andaccountability.
Approve prioritize and control projects and the project portfolio thereby ensuring that projects are delivered on time on target and on budget.
Develop and maintain an appropriate technology organizational structure which includesa balance of external and internal resources that support the needs of the business.
Optimize costs of technology services through mix of internal resources professionalservices and staff augmentation.
Develop and manage Technologys annual operating and capital budgets.

Education and Certificates:
15 years of progressive leadership experience leading IT experience developing and executing a cohesive technology strategy that is aligned withthe overall business strategy.
Experience working in the Construction or related industries is preferred.
Proven experience in strategic IT planning including leading enterprise transformationsand successful implementation of critical systems and infrastructure ( CRM Data Cyber etc.)
Mastersdegree in information systems computer science engineering or related fieldspreferred
Physical Requirements:
Physical Work Requirements - Light: exerting up to 15 lbs. of force occasionally.
Repetitive motion associated with operatingvarious typesof equipment.
Occasional automotive travel to job sites and work locations.
