What you will be doing:
We have an exciting opportunity within theManufacturing plantinDerby for anMTMMechanical manufacturing services technician.
The purpose of the role is to provide supportforour service leader and service engineer to ensure the organisationsobjectivesand goals are delivered.
As a Manufacturing Services Technician based in theMechanicalfield you willbe responsible forperformingmechanicalinstallations repairs and maintenance on manufacturing assets and all associated production equipment.
Responsibilities:
In this roleyou willread and interpret machinery and plant drawingsmechanicalschematics maintenance manuals and parts catalogues to enable customer requirements to be metin additionyou will:
Identifyand recommend improvements tomechanicalprocedures. Research and implement improvements.
Suggest improvements to work instructions to optimise themechanicalinstallation / maintenance strategy.
Coordinate workload andmechanicalactivities with customers regularly communicating and interfacing with Production Leaders Team Leaders Design Engineers Maintenance Team members and Production.
Able to process Work Orders and pull reports from the Computerised Maintenance Management System.

To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following criteria:
NVQ level 3 or equivalent in relevantMechanical/maintenancetime served apprenticeship*.
Good understanding ofMechanicalInstallations and maintenance operations.
Understanding of local and regional HSE Standards and regulations.
Able to work to engineering drawings.
*Please attach a copy of your certificate as proof of completing a recognised apprenticeship together with/next to your CV.
