Role Overview
The Assistant Manager HR (Generalist) will manage end-to-end HR operations including recruitment employee lifecycle management statutory compliance payroll coordination performance management and compensation & benefits
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Workforce Planning
  • End-to-end recruitment for operational roles
  • Manpower planning with department heads
  • Sourcing via portals consultants referrals and local channels
  • Screening interview coordination offers and onboarding
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
  • Joining confirmation transfers promotions exits and full & final settlements
  • Attendance leave shift coordination and HR documentation
  • Support appraisal cycles and annual increments
Performance Management (PMS)
  • Coordinate goal setting KPIs appraisals and review cycles
  • Track performance outcomes linked to increments promotions and training
Compensation & Benefits (C&B) & Payroll
  • Support salary structuring increments bonuses incentives and benefits
  • Address employee salary and benefits-related queries
Statutory Compliance & Employee Relations
  • Coordinate statutory filings audits inspections and labor authorities
  • Handle grievances disciplinary actions engagement and welfare activities
HR MIS & Reporting
  • Prepare HR MIS on manpower recruitment attrition attendance performance and compliance
Key Skills & Competencies
  • Strong HR generalist experience in manufacturing / plant environment
  • Knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance
  • Hands-on exposure to PMS C&B payroll coordination and recruitment
  • Proficiency in MS Excel HRMS
  • Strong coordination communication and problem-solving skills
