CyberSecurity Engineer Identity Governance and Administration (IGA)

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior IGA Engineer to join HPs Cybersecurity organization. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing developing and implementing identity governance solutions on the Saviynt IGA platform supporting HPs global SOX compliance user access automation and control requirements.
You will collaborate closely with cybersecurity architects compliance partners and application teams to onboard enterprise systems into IGA enhance workflows and strengthen HPs access management governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical implementation and onboarding of applications into the Saviynt IGA platform ensuring alignment with HPs SOX and access management controls (UAA RU UAM).
- Develop configure and maintain connectors workflows roles and policies within Saviynt.
- Troubleshoot complex issues related to identity data provisioning and entitlement synchronization.
- Collaborate with application owners cybersecurity compliance and vendor developers to ensure smooth end-to-end onboarding and testing.
- Perform C&A (Certification and Attestation) validation to confirm data completeness and accuracy.
- Support continuous improvement of IGA processes automation and monitoring to enhance operational efficiency.
- Participate in audit preparation and evidence collection for SOX and other compliance programs.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and vendor developers on IGA integration best practices.
- Document solution designs test plans and standard operating procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field.
- 5 years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) with 2 years specifically on IGA platforms (Saviynt SailPoint or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience in:
- Configuring Saviynt objects (applications roles workflows tasks etc.)
- SAML/OAuth/OpenID integrations
- SQL scripting API development and troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of SOX controls access governance and compliance processes.
- Familiarity with Active Directory Azure AD ServiceNow and HR systems integration.
- Excellent problem-solving debugging and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally across global teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Saviynt Cloud (SaaS) platform and REST API-based integrations.
- Knowledge of Python or PowerShell for automation scripting.
- Understanding of Identity lifecycle management and access certification processes.
- Prior experience working in a large enterprise or regulated environment (SOX NIST ISO27001).
- Saviynt Certified Engineer or equivalent IAM certification preferred.
