Synergie is partnering with a global leader in food manufacturing to support the opening of a brand-new state-of-the-art industrial facility in early 2026. We are currently seeking motivated Industrial Cleaners to join the sites essential Sanitation team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern facility working with world-class equipment and high standards of food safety.
The important parts
- Tuesday to Saturday roster
- Flexibility to work afternoon and night shift
- Full-time permanent positions
- Work in a brand-new high-tech facility
- Full training is provided for candidates who have a strong work ethic and an interest in building a long-term career in food manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Disassemble and reassemble bakery equipment for cleaning
- Complete scheduled washdowns wet cleaning and sanitation tasks
- Carry out mopping scrubbing waste removal and general cleaning
- Follow Sanitation SOPs and hygiene protocols
- Accurately complete cleaning logs checklists and documentation
- Maintain safe and clean working environments at all times
- Adhere to OHS GMP and food safety requirements
Skills & Experience Required
Essential
- Strong work ethic reliability and attention to detail
- Ability to work afternoon/night shifts
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 25 kg
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong awareness of safety hygiene and food safety practices
Preferred
- Experience as a Sanitor Industrial Cleaner or similar role
- Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG environments
- Ability to work efficiently within tight timeframes
- Initiative drive and commitment to maintaining high standards
