Primary School Long Term Substitute Paraeducator
(Assignment is a minimum of 4 weeks with the possibility of an extension)

OVERVIEW
TheECS Paraeducatorworks collaboratively with classroom teachers special educators building specialists and the Building Leadership Team by supporting teachers in the preparation of classroom materials and resources; assisting grade-level teams in non-instructional activities as needed; provide support for recess and lunch duties; assists in additional duty coverage and support as determined by the supervisor. Candidates should be energetic and progressive minded with a willingness to work collaboratively with building staff.

Educational Background and Work Experience
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution is preferred
- At least 2 years of post-high school education is required or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Prior experience is a school setting and elementary aged students preferred
Compensation and Benefits
- $92.00/day plus participation in a generous 403b retirement plan after 400 hours employment
