Bindery Operator
Reports to: Operations Manager FLSA Status: Hourly (Non-Exempt) Shifts: 1st & 2nd Shift
Position Summary
We are seeking skilled Bindery Operators to join our Norcross GA production team. This role supports a wide range of bindery and finishing operations with responsibilities tailored to the individuals experience and skillset. Equipment may include guillotine cutters die cutters I-cut systems laminators and other bindery and finishing equipment used to produce high-quality printed products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Operate bindery and finishing equipment such as guillotines die cutters I-cut systems laminators and related machinery
Set up and run jobs to meet quality standards tolerances and production schedules
Read and interpret job tickets prior to production and throughout the job
Inspect finished pieces to ensure quality and accuracy
Load unload and handle materials and finished products (up to 50 lbs.)
Complete required documentation related to time materials and quality control
Maintain a clean safe and organized work area while following all SOPs safety PPE and 6S requirements
Basic Qualifications (Education Experience Skills)
High school diploma or GED required
Experience with guillotine cutting die cutting I-cutting or laminating
Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English
Basic math skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Willingness and availability to work overtime as needed
