Join our team as a Staff Embedded Verification Engineer where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and effectiveness of our groundbreaking surgical robotics and guidance platforms. Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to develop execute and refine software verification strategies for components during product development manufacturing and service phases.

Mentor team members drive innovative solutions and contribute to advancing healthcare technology. This position reports to the Senior Engineering Manager providing opportunities for leadership and technical growth in a dynamic and supportive environment.

What You Will Do

  • You will develop and execute robust software verification plans and test procedures for guidance platform components.
  • You will design develop and validate software solutions to meet design and regulatory requirements.
  • You will identify and resolve technical challenges ensuring alignment with project timelines and goals.
  • You will mentor team members on software testing methodologies tools and best practices.
  • You will collaborate with R&D Quality and Manufacturing teams to define and implement effective testing methods.
  • You will create and maintain engineering documentation including design requirements test case development documentation and reports.
  • You will drive continuous improvement of testing processes systems and tools to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • You will lead or contribute to the design development and validation of innovative testing solutions and fixtures to support manufacturing and service needs.

  • You will deliver high-quality validated test plans and procedures on schedule.
  • You will demonstrate effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones.
  • You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality procedures.
  • You will drive measurable improvements in testing efficiency and reliability.

What You Need

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Software Engineering Electrical Engineering Computer Science or a related technical discipline is required.
  • 4 years of experience in software testing engineering or R&D roles is required.

What We Would Love That You Have (Preferred Qualifications)

(You do not need to have all of these)

  • Familiarity with programming languages like MATLAB C/C or Python.
  • Ability to use test equipment such as oscilloscopes multimeters and similar tools.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies test plans and case development.
  • Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes such as Agile or Waterfall.
  • Proven ability to generate and review technical documents including requirements and design specifications.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards in a medical or similarly regulated environment (preferred).

Travel Percentage: 10%
